All our prints are printed in Achill Island by Sean Cannon at our Gallery in Keel.

The prints are made with 12 colour state of the art equipment. They are Giclée prints and are the finest long lasting prints available. Tests have established that they will not fade in proper hanging condition behind framing glass for in excess of 160 years.

Our Gallery on Achill is open again for the summer season.  From May 'till September.  We are open 7 days a week from 11.00am to 5.00pm.  If you're in the area call in for a look.

From 1978 – 1982 Ronan attended the National College of Art & Design in Dublin where he received an Honours Diploma in Sculpture in 1981 and the following year an Honours Degree Sculpture B.A.  From 1982 – 1984 Ronan attended Yale School of Art, New haven, Connecticut. USA. and received an Honours Degree Sculpture M.F.A.  In 1985 he returned to Dublin where he worked for a number of years before moving his studio to Drogheda and in 1998 he moved to Achill Island where he now lives.

Contemporary artist Camille Souter was born in Northampton, England, in 1929. Raised in Ireland she studied nursing in London.  In the mid-1950’s Souter spent some time in Italy in order to recuperate after a period of illness.  It was here that she discovered a love for painting.

Francis Van Maele was born  in Belgium,  the first pictures he made in 1958 with a Kodak Brownie were already a subject for a book.  In 1977 he started learning silk screen printing in the Art Academy of Trier in Germany. In 2011 they started collecting Polaroid cameras and make books with Polaroid photographs. They have launched a new website "www.polamad.com".  They still travel around the world showing their books at Art Book Fairs.

I work in oils, using brushes and palette knives. For some paintings, particularly land and seascapes, I like to work quickly, always aiming to capture a spontaneity, a freshness in my work.  

Founded in 2010, Dooega Drama Group is an amateur drama and theatre group based on Achill Island.

Keel Drama Group is an amateur drama group based on Achill Island. Their aim is to bring highly entertaining shows to the stage on Achill Island to entertain the local community and visitors alike.  They have a great team back stage and a high caliber of local Actors who were destined for the stage!

Der Nobelpreisgewinner Heinrich Böll (1917-1985) und seine Familie besuchten Irland erstmals im Jahre 1954. Sie erwarben ein Cottage auf Achill Island, welches heute ein Gästehaus für irische und internationale Künstler ist. 

Robert Henri (1865-1929) war ein amerikanischer Maler und Lehrer. Henri machte einige Reisen an Irlands Westküste und mietete Corrymore House bei Dooagh auf Achill Island im Jahr 1913.
